I'm a multidisciplinary designer who lives in Brighton, UK. I've worked as a Graphic Designer since 2000 with a Graphic Design education and an extensive career in print design. After graduating from Edinburgh College of Art my career in design has taken me to Australia, Moscow and London. I have been involved in design and art direction for a wide range of clients; from independent entrepreneurs, music artists and publishers to charities and corporate organisations. More recently I have shifted my focus a little more from print to digital and I have been working with User Interface design.
This has allowed me to progressively move forwards and grow as a designer combining the two disciplines to create effective, aesthetically beautiful, and flawless user interfaces.
My wealth of experience along with a solid understanding and appreciation of all elements of design and visual communication enables me to deliver creative outcomes that help meet objectives. I am skilled in rapidly and efficiently implementing new methods and ideas helping to improve communication and productivity.
My key skills include:
Interaction design principles, Branding, typography and colour theory, Wire-framing and prototyping, Style guides, User research and personas, Prototyping, Designing for Print, Branding, Idea Generation, Adobe XD, Figma, After Effects, Indesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat, Lightroom, HTML and CSS understanding
